Deep Sea Monster Raiga

Up from the depths of the ocean comes a new Kaiju to contend with... as if Japan has enough problems.

Don't translate that translation

I found a Raiga video with Italian subtitles today.

It's obvious that they used our Japanese-English translation. But I'm glad their Raiga script is not a dead copy.

This translation note is not very accurate.

Probably they thought our translation didn't make sense. But Matsuri didn't say "Guarda!" (Watch it!) or "Ginocchiata!" (Knee). They added some guesslation.

Image
They did not forgive the director's bleeping censorship. :D

Image
To be honest, I made a creative localization here in our subs. They didn't like it apparently.

Image
To be open, I know I have left a very minor translation error here. (I found it after we released the video)
It seems they liked my translation here. My small flub is kept unchanged.

At this scene, my computer video player application crashed. The Raiga ITA video is with super-high video bitrate.

The Tokyo Sky Tree construction is complete and today (May 22, 2012), they had a grand opening ceremony.

But, in Raiga, the tallest tower in Japan was already destroyed. (by Self Defense Force)
